When we, the Trevino family, took over the ownership and management of La Mexicana, it had been a Mexican food market since 1968. We have used our expertise to transform the original Mexicana into a full-size, full-service restaurant since 1982. The menu reflects our knowledge and desire to provide authentic northern Mexican home-style dishes.Our personal supervision of all aspects of food preparation insures the use of only the best and freshest produce, grains, dairy products, and meats. This gives you the 100% authentic taste that makes our varied menu so tasty and appealing. The best corn and olive oil used adds to the health conscious preparation of all meals.Striving to add to the "real" Mexican flair of our restaurant, the panaderia (bakery) with its grand array of pan dulce, was added in 1992 for your added enjoyment.Our satisfaction continues to be in offering only healthy, wholesome, and flavorful dishes at La Mexicana.Relax and kick back as if you were in your own home.
