For 3 years in a row Lonesome Dove has had the highest food rating by ZAGAT in Dallas and Fort Worth. Chef Tim Love is also the first Fort Worth chef to be nominated for a James Beard Award. Lonesome Dove is a must if you are in the area.
Open in 2000, The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro located in Fort Worth's Historic Stockyard District has quickly become the city's premiere dining establishment. Chef Tim Love designs a menu daily influenced by all of the ingredients and cultures that has been a part of the West since the first adventure began on the Goodnight-Loving and Chisholm Trails - with an added level of modern sophistication. Items on Lonesome Dove's menu range from an inventive selection of steaks, seafood, and wild game to dishes such as pinon and chile caribe crusted dayboat scallops, Kangaroo Carpaccio nachos, and Seared Red Deer Bone-in Ribeye. Lonesome Dove is urban western chic with beautiful art and a very comfortable and lively atmosphere. |
