Considering my experience with fine dining somewhere else, which convinced me that fine dining is all too often defined as good service which is expected to overawe the patron so the kitchen won't have to, I have redefined my expectations for a good restaurant as being one with good service and very competent food. more»

I find this to be an exceptional Cal-French bistro, with very reasonable prices for the high quality of food, and a terrific atmosphere ( classic zinc bar, great 19th C. bistro feel ). more»

we tried breakfast there another day and it was nice - but felt it was a bit formal atmosphere - if you like bigger portions for breakfast, again the Grand Lux Cafe is your best bet. more»
