First off, you have to `` request'' to sit in the less crowded, less noisy upstairs dining room - I would have thought this would have been a given since I made a reservation for a romantic dinner for 2 on Valentines Day. more»

The Dolphin Striker is a full-service restaurant and bar specializing in refined New England cuisine emphasizing local ingredients and innovative presentation. The well crafted food is served by a friendly, knowledgeable staff in a comfortable atmosphere. The Dolphin Striker is a great place to meet for dinner or simply cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Some of the favorite entrees among the patrons are the pan roasted Halibut on barley-sweet corn risotto with cipollini fondue, and the Duet of braised short ribs and grilled hanger steak on potato puree with truffle butter. Another favorite of the Dolphin Striker is the lively Spring Hill Tavern where you can listen to outstanding live music six nights a week. The Dolphin Striker function room, which can accommodate 25-30 guests, is the perfect place for private parties and the tavern may also be available if needed. Dinner is served six nights 5 pm-9:30 pm. Lunch is also available Thursday through Sunday from 11:30 am to 2 pm.
