The Big Easy's Food - Select Comments

My husband thought that the gumbo was really good, as he went to school in Louisiana, he said the roux was very good. more»
The burgers are good, the crawfish and gumbo are awesome. more»

The Big Easy's Service - Select Comments

The service was very good although when I asked if the etouffee was prepared with a dark roux , the waiter responded that it was a classic New Orleans butter roux of light color _ not necessarily accurate ( I believe Paul Prudomme would argue that one ). more»
The service and decor is a little more `` upscale'' than the average hang out on Bourban Street , but the food was as authentic as it comes. more»

As a native I would say with confidence that The Big Easy has GREAT food , a WONDERFUL atmosphere , and could hold their own in the Crescent City. more»

Message from The Big Easy
Our Main Dining room features large mahogany tables. Seats in front of our beautiful 10ft tall windows are perfect for watching all the action on Fayetteville Street. In the center of the restaurant is our unique slate topped 40ft long bar. It is a great spot for conversation or watch the game on the flat panel television. Opposite the bar are tall pub style tables accented with street lighting and Bourbon Street photos for a warm romantic New Orleans vibe.

Our Balcony Mezzanine room is the perfect place to have a private party. With comfortable couches, pub style tables and large mahogany tables everyone will mix and mingle with ease. There is a pool table and a golden tee game as well.

The spacious Orange Room is also available for private parties and is used as another main dining area. The warm orange walls seem to glow under the lights and beautiful artwork by local artists evoke a surreal New Orleans feel.

If you would like to host your party in one of these rooms please click on the "Private Party" link to the left for more information.
