Located just north of the warehouse district on 800 Washington Avenue- it's where elegant sophistication meets eclectic culture, From the live jazz to the five star culinary creations to the opulent surroundings, Babalu accentuates everything that's unique and satisfying surrounding the entire Latin-Caribbean dining and entertainment experience.The menu is extensive, yet easy to navigate; touting tropical specialties like Tapas, Cuban Mojitos, Puerco Asado and Ropa Vieja, Entrée options range from chicken and game, seafood, steak or pork and are priced from $12 to $30. The menu also boasts an array of unique and traditional appetizers, soups, salads, house specialties and desserts. Smaller and less expensive selections are available over the lunch hour, priced and packaged to accommodate the busy working professional.A spacious lounge area offers complimentary live music three days week starting on Thursday evenings. Entertainment composition will concentrate around Latin, Brazilian, Cuban and Jazz.
