Message from Mirage Restaurant
The first Mirage restaurant in the Detroit area. The owner, Shamil Shalmiev, intends to expand the restaurant through out the U.S with in the next five years. It appears Mirage is becoming a hot spot to be, and may monopolize the high class yet affordable genera of a night out. . People whom enjoy healthy meals will find that they will travel to the Mirage because of their quality. The prices of the food average between ten dollars and eighteen dollars. It is located at 16400 J.L Hudson Dr. Southfield, MI 48075 right next to Providence Hospital . It rests inside the Plaza Hotel a prime location for travelers, and business professionals whom want to catch a bit to eat on their lunch break. About 20 minutes from Ferndale, Birmingham, and Detroit. It also attracts individuals from the airport due to it being one of the best international restaurants surrounded by a plethora of hotels. It is a hidden gem inside the Plaza Hotel, where any one can enjoy their array of fine foods, and entertainment.

A safe little haven where people lovers come. The decor is enticing, and elegant. Red drapes the atmosphere along with flowers. Good liquor, delicious food, and lively conversation. It all takes place during a selection of Mirage events that celebrate Detroit's melting pot of people. Having experienced the ribs with rice, I would say the food is a delectable treat that leaves the taste buds with nothing more to be desired. Ethnic music plays as people finish off their meals with a shot of lemon cello, or desert liquorish. It's a loud, fun loving, kind hearted crowd of people whom take this time to embrace their culture. Even if you don't share the heritage it still feels like a home a way from home.
