This 116 year-old historic cite is housed in a distinctive turn-of-the-century Victorian-style building, and is a quick walk to Greek Town, the Renaissance Center and many downtown Detroit landmarks. Sweetwater Tavern also offers free shuttle service to all Lions, Tigers and Red Wing Games.

Sweetwater Tavern is famous for their Sweetwater Wings, BBQ ribs, and great desserts such as their granny apple pie and the Sweetwater Hummer. Other specialties include "The Big Pig" pulled pork sandwich. Menu items are served in generous portions at reasonable prices. There is an extensive beer and wine menu available.

The atmosphere at Sweet Water, regardless of what day you visit, there is always an eclectic vibe; from the great mix of minglers to the sports enthusiast watching the game on the big screen TV's.
