Few people can make anything into a pie except for Rodney Henry. This place is a refreshing concept in the Hampden area. The Savory House has something for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. There is "Homemade" recipes that are sold over the counter and called homemade but the Savory House hand-makes their pies right in front of you.

"Who knew savory pies could be so good!? I have an inexplicable fear of pot pies. I blame Swanson. So when I found out that Rodney's ubiquitous Dangerously Delicious Pies had opened a savory house in Hampden, I was skeptical. Then I experienced the steak, mushroom, onion, and fontinella cheese pie. Served by the pie man himself. So amazing. As Rodney likes to say, right on!"

"I have two immutable baking laws at my house: (1) you cannot get as tasty a piece of cake commercially as you can get from a well-made homemade cake; and (2) you cannot bake a pie as delicious as the pie you can buy at Dangerously Delicious Pies.
