Clark St. Dog provides all-American comfort food: burgers, hot dogs (with everything), Italian Beef, and the house specialty Philly cheesesteak. They also feature international favorites like gyros. The environment and the food is pretty much addictive. And it's not pre-made like fast food chains. When you walk up, you can order a big double-cheeseburger and the toppings are totally personalized. Pickles, onions, peppers, mustard, ketchup, or everything. Open until 3 am or 4am on weekends, this is a perfect Wrigleyville business. It's inexpensive. Dieters and vegetarians: this is NOT the place for you(salads are available). You may feel a little guilty when you first order up some of the greasy goodness, but the first bite reminds you why you keep coming back for more. A real neighboorhood favorite--Clark Dog should be the occasional treat for any Chicagoan.
