Par Lounge is a low-key Wicker Park lounge with earthy amber hues, low-slung ottomans and tables, and local art from Cleveland Dean and other creative minds. Jazz, funk, hip-hop, R&B and house beats create a lounge-y vibe as bar goers sip signature drinks and nibble an eclectic selection of global small plates. One flat-screen TV shows a random assortment of flicks.with DJ's that spin jazz, alternative, hip-hop, etc. But the owners found that they preferred keeping the music and vibe diverse, so the only things that will remain constant here are the low, votive-topped tables and the menu of Asian tapas. Other than that, says owner Chemin Miller, "In this place, you don't know what you're going to get".
