Message from Java Vino
Java Vino is a small independently owned family business. Heddy Kühl and Steve Franklin created this concept a few years ago and have been saving up to make it a reality. Now that the time has come, they look forward to spreading their concept through coffee, wine and select merchandise. They hope to be able to make a difference in the awareness of Latin America. What exactly is Java Vino? Java Vino breaks down very simply as Java "coffee" and Vino "wine". We're a coffee and wine house, located in the Poncey-Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta, GA. We offer a plethora of coffees and wines from around the world. Our favorites are Latin American, mostly because that's where our background is. Latin America also offers great "finds". Our house coffee, Selva Negra Estate Coffee, comes from Nicaragua and is produced by the family of one of Java Vin owners. It's incredible, you sincerely get the seed-to-cup experience at JJava Vin The Kuhl Family picks the coffee beans, exports it, imports it, roasts it and brews it right here for you at JaJava VinWe offer light food, including home-made soups, sandwiches, breakfast pastries and a selection of appetizers and delectable desserts. To complement your wine we offer incredible artisan cheese plates. Just check with AJC's Access Atlanta, they say so! This specific article in Access Atlanta covered us during our grand opening week. Our desserts are all selected by ourselves and our sweet-tooth-loving staff. You of course need a kick-ass chocolate dessert to complement a hearty red wine. So be sure to try the chocolate cobbler, it's dangerously good.To compliment your coffee we have egg & cheese sandwiches, bisbiscotti'd a bunch of breakfast pasty goodies. We brew fresh coffee each day, changing it up. If you find a favorite and must have it, try a French Press, you pick whatever freshly roasted coffee we have! Did we mention we roast all our coffee in-house? Well we do!
