The room is too noisy, so don't go there if you want to have a conversation, but if you want to have a great meal at a great spot this is the place for you. more»
Slanted Door's Service - Select CommentsMy overall dining experience at The Slanted door was good ( perfect weather which provided for a perfect view of the bay while we ate , good service ) but I think that my expectations for the food may have been set a little high from all the hype that I have been hearing about this place. more»
The four of us had a very enjoyable experience _ as noted above food very good , service outstanding ( Jason ) , a bit noisey but that the way it goes _ I might criticise the wine list _ could include more local and more moderate priced wines! more»
Slanted Door's Ambiance - Select Commentsvery pretty view , under the bridge / way too crowded -- people with reservations had to stand in line for a long time outside in the cold and rain / / great food but we felt very rushed _ main courses served while just enjoying appetizers _ very expensive so we wanted to enjoy each course more»
We had the best of all worlds : lots of people watching , and a convivial crowd at the beginning , but a quieter scene towards the end , where we enjoyed the great Bay view , with our excellent wine. more»
