The service was attentive in the beginning of our meal ( they kept refilling our orange juice ) and was almost non-existent at the end of our meal ( we had to ask for coffee even though the entire table was halfway done eating their desserts ; several minutes later , cream for the coffee finally appeared ). more»

We have more than once eaten at the Carnelian Room when we had to settle for respectable food , pleasant ambiance and good service because thick fog swirled around the windows , and , as the maitre d' told us on one occasion ; `` You can imagine anything no matter which window you look through .
