For Lunch Monday through Friday you should make a reservation. 410 Boyd's is a dedicated old school downtown L.A. art bar with a clientele ranging from 20-year regulars, judges and councilmen to local successful artists, up and coming artists, old time downtowners and sports fans. You can show up in a three-piece suit or shorts and a tee shirt. No one cares. Everyone's welcome. 410 Boyd bar and grill has been downtown for 20 years for a reason.

There's a healthy happy hour here after suits knock off work and artists take a breather from their nearby studios; the crowd gets funkier as the suburbanites go home. This is the sort of place to eavesdrop on people discussing the future of the city, and many of the diners here have a hand in shaping it. The fare is pretty standard, but it's hard to go wrong with the Gorgonzola burger, Caesar salad or simple fish dishes.
