You can get a lamb sandwich ( really delicious and filling ) for $ 4.95, and no entree costs more than about $ 13. Love Zygo ' s ; especially the lamb sandwich and leon potatoes ; the best! The service is friendly, the food is awesome ( I especially recommend the lamb dishes here ) and the prices are unbelievable.

The highlights from my meal include the sample of Greek spreads, the grilled octopus, and the greek meat sausage, served in a wonderful tomato sauce. The flavors were quite good and the atmosphere was comfortable and reminded me of restaurants in the small non-seaside villages of Greece. What I found there this past weekend was the dining experience I had been hoping for : friendly service, a clean environment, and most important of all, inexpensive, tasty, quality food, best eaten in a family style. In the meantime the restaurant moved into an expanded location on 34th Avenue, still in Astoria.
