And these local greens were very fresh and delicious. A cracker crust of flax seed and various nuts were spread with an olive tapenade and then piled high with a mound of greens and drizzled with a tahini yogurt dressing -- a delicious combo for sophisticated palates, but something that might require some forewarning if you're going to bring the brood. The space lends itself well to a casual caf� concept with a counter in the back of the large room that overlooks the kitchen.

The wine list was quite extensive with a range of options to choose from depending on if you are casually dining or there for a'pecial' night like we were and want to spend a bit more. Food was good ( I had a special of Boar, wine was good, ambiance was good, and the personalities of the staff/owners couldn't be better. The food was deliciouly different and the service was very attentive and caring.

And rasmalai ( $ 4.99 ) -- fresh cheese patties in pistachio-laced cream sauce -- might have been a light, lovely ending had it not been for a profusion of rose water. Both bellari lamb curry ( $ 12.49 ) and kozhi varutha curry with chicken ( $ 10.99 ) were variations on chunks of meat submerged in vessels of rich sauce.
