No Happy Hour, menu is at least 3 months old, fixed price w/wine-pairing is $ 37 ( not $ 27 advertised on the site ) and only served M-Thurs ( also not specified on the site ). Nice restaurant, nice decor, interesting menu, reasonable prices. Great unobtrusive but knowledgable service - the chef often comes out to answer any questions diners may have. warm friendly atmosphere, Small but outstanding wine list. Atmosphere was very nice.

IF YOU LIKE GREAT BEER AND REALY GREAT pastrami, the kind one usually can find only in New York City, then crank up hupmobile and go to the The Refuge, 963 Laurel St. in San Carlos. If you like pastrami, this is a place that is worth a trip out of your way ( possibly a long trip out of your way ! ) READ ABOUT IT HERE Places like Robby Morgenstern� s Miller� s East Cost Delicatessen, and Saul� s were approaching deli with the respect of a fine dining establishment, primarily because they were run by former chefs at some of the city� s best kitchens. Excellent service, casual atmosphere, fantastic Reuben sandwich, amazing beer.
