I heard of this place... driven by it.... I smelled it. ...Saw the website. Dropped in on Saturday afternoon to try the Que. I was NOT disappointed. I had a combo plate of links & brisket. It was GREAT. A hearty portion of brisket that melted in your mouth and robust links. The sauce was sweet and smokey. I like Spicy hot but I will ask the next time. (There will be a next time.) They sides were larger than other places and good. The beans were chili & smokey in flavor. Of all the potatoes salad I have had this was the Very best. You got 2 corn muffins that's was OK.. They offer other sides dirty rice, collards greens and such. Which I will try next time. So if you are looking for a new place with value for the buck The people were nice and helpful.Give this a try.

Drinks and appetizer choices were very good. The drinks were good, if a bit strong. From the decor, service, and food everything was wonderful. A great addition to downtown Oakland with stylish, yet unpretentious Art Deco interior.
